Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

Cabbage leaves   6

Boil 6-8 cups of water add 1tsp salt. Boil cabbage leaves in it &leave them for 2 minutes. Strain & leave them in the strainer.

For batter:

Maida  3 tsp heaped 

Water   ¼ cup water

Salt     a pinch

Mix all &make a thick batter.

For Filling:

Ghee   2 tsp

Onion    1   Finely chopped

Potatoes/ paneer    1cup   Boiled & mashed

Green chili   1     finely Chopped

Green Coriander  1 tsp   finely chopped

Ginger  1 tsp   Finely Chopped

Salt    ½ tsp-to taste

Pepper   ¼ tsp-to taste

Garam masala  1/8tsp- to taste

Lemon juice  1tsp- to taste

Ghee for frying

Heat ghee in a pan &sauté onion.

Then add potatoes &all the things. Make a fine mixture.

For covering:-

Vermicelli    1cup      crushed

Take a cabbage leaf, put a small portion of the mixture in the base center& cover with both the sides. Then roll it..

Dip the roll in maida mixture& roll in vermicelli powder.

Fry light golden.

Serve hot.
