Kathi RollsIngredients For chapattis:- Maida 1 cup Oil 1+1 tsp Salt a pinch Water ½ cup Make hard dough with 1 tsp oil & water. Cover with 1 tsp oil & keep it for ½ hr.
For Stuffing:- Carrot 1 Chopped Peas ¼ cup Cauliflower ¼ cup Chopped Potato ¼ cup Chopped (Or any other vegetable of your choice) Salt ¼ tsp Red chili powder 1/8 tsp Garam masala 1/8 tsp Jeera a pinch Oil/ ghee 1 tsp Onion 1-2 Julian cut (length wise & sleek) Mixture of lemon juice, salt & red chili Green chutney ½ cup
Method: Heat ghee, add jeera then add all the vegetables, salt, red chili powder & garam masala. Cover 7 cook till done (or make vegetables in cooker with ¼ cup water & are whistle). Then put the cooker under tap water till pressure is over. Then dry all the water by cooking on high flame & uncovered. When dry add lemon juice. Make 8 balls of Maida dough. Heat griddle (tawa). Roll the ball & cool & pile them in a cloth. Take a roti on one side line vegetables then chutney, then onion then roll it. Wrap it in foil. Before serving place on hot tawa then serve. |
