Refried Beans

½ Cup Red Kidney Beans (Rajma). Wash and Soak in 2 cups of water for 5-6 hours.

Take these beans along with its water, add ½ TSP salt and then Pressure cook on high flame until 2 whistles and then cook 20 minutes on low flame.

 

1 Cup               Onion chopped

 

4 Nos.              Garlic cloves- Crushed

 

1/4th TSP         Salt

 

2 TSP              Oil

 

2 TSP              Green Coriander (Dhania) – Chopped

 

1 Pinch Nut Meg powder (Jaayephal)

 

Heat a pan, sauté onion and garlic. Add boiled beans along with water. Mash a little bit while cooking it until all the water evaporates.
