Tacos

Taco Shell

½ Cup             Maize Flour

½ Cup             Maida

1/8 TSP            Salt

1TSP               Cooking Oil

½ Cup             Warm Water

Oil for deep frying

 

Mix both the flours, salt and cooking oil. Make a dough. Divide the dough in 12 parts.

Roll them just like thin puris. Prick with folk on both sides.

 

Heat oil in a frying pan. Deep fry the puri (fry them one at a time) on medium flame until very light brown.Take it out, fold in U shape. Then fry all of them the same way.

 Filling Ingredient

1 Cup Refried beans

 

Garnishing

1 Cup               Shredded Cabbage

1 Cup               Shredded Onion

1 Cup               Tomato- Seeded and chopped

12 TSP                        Hot Chilli Tomato Sauce

  Assembling  

Take a Taco shell. Put 1 TSP of Refried beans in the U shaped cavity.

Sprinkle 1 TSP cabbage, 1 TSP onion and lastly 1 TSP chopped tomato.

Sprinkle 1 TSP of chilli tomato sauce over it.

Make all tacos the same way. Serve immediately else they become soggy.

Thus assemble them just before serving.
