Gardita Filling2 TSP Butter ½ Cup Onion- Thin strips ½ Cup Tomatoes- Thin strips ½ TSP Salt ¼ TSP Red Chilli Powder A Pinch Garam Masala 1 TSP Lemon Juice 1 TSP Green Coriander- Chopped 2 Cups Par Boiled Vegetables (½ Cup French beans cut 1” long, ½ Cup Carrot cut 1” long, ½ Cup peas shelled Few florets of broccoli Boil all these in 2 cups of water until just tender. Drain them and Par Boiled Vegetables are ready) Heat a pan, add butter, add onion and stir fry, until just pink. Add the other ingredients. Mix them all, stir fry for approximately 30 seconds. Turn off the flame. Filling is ready. ½ Cup Maize Flour ½ Cup Maida 1/8 TSP Salt 1TSP Cooking Oil ½ Cup Warm Water 3 TSP Butter Mix both the flours, salt and cooking oil. Make a dough with warm water. Divide the dough in 6 parts. Roll them in oval shape (a little thick). Heat the tava,. Cook this oval shape on tava just like a normal Indian roti. When done, butter it on any one side. Put 1/6 part of the filling on the unbuttered side and fold it. It’s ready to serve.
